As a result of ever more rapid changes in the economic situation and the new focus on altered customer and market requirements and the resultant changes in purchasing behaviour, companies are launching more and more projects in parallel, often with the unwanted outcome that the endpoint of individual projects is delayed several times and falls behind schedule.
